Who do I pick: The one I like or the one I love?
Hi! I used to be in a relationship for 1 year and 5 months but my ex broke up with me because according to her I was acting stupid. At first, it was hard to let her go so I would text her and call her like crazy and she would act like a . Also, I had asked her to go with me to prom and she would tell me to find someone else to go with that she didn't give a . After a while I left her alone and about 2 weeks later she started texting and calling me saying she missed me. So after a while I gave in and decided to work things out. We hung out and messed around and I stayed with her till she fell asleep and then left. The next day she told me that she felt in her heart that we just couldn't be together anymore and that she'd be willing to be my friend so I told her to just leave me alone. Then I started talking to this girl who used to have a crush on me but I had rejected about 2 years before this happened. Things were slow at first but then we finally went out. Then my ex started calling me and telling me she missed me again and I told her about this girl but that it was nothing serious but that she was going with me to prom. Then she told me that she would go with me and to "unask" the new girl but I wasn't going to do that. My ex started proving herself to me by visiting me at home any little chance she could even in the mornings before school. She then told me that the rest of the relationship depended on however prom went and on what she would hear. Finally, I took the new girl to prom and things went pretty good. However, my ex started talking a bunch of crap about what she had heard that I was all over her and God knows what. I know I can still go back to my ex if I should choose to but I've never been the kind of guy who chased a girl before and that's exactly what the new girl did to me so that must be a good thing! Point being, what should I do?

Number one point. YOUR EX IS AN EX.

YOUR EX IS NUTS. SHE IS A NUT CASE AND AN IDIOT AND YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT ABUSE. COME ON MAN AND WAKE UP.

If you go back to your ex your really being lead by the balls. Can you not see that she is nothing but trouble.

    This is a case of
Your ex wants what she can't have. She doesn't want you - but she doesn't want anyone else to have you either.
Save yourself from a world of hurt and leave that girl alone. She is going to break your heart. It doesn't matter if the new girl relationship works out or not - the ex will be toxic for you.

This is a no-brainer. Leave the ex alone and you will be much happier without her drama and controlling ways. She is a user. She will make you miserable and has no real feelings for you. To be blunt, that you have to even think about going back with her, shows you don't have a clue as to the power of a fickle female.
