How do I get my daughter and her boyfriend to move out of my house?
I am a single mother of a 22 w/o daughter and 15 y/o twin boys. I currently live in a homeless shelter. My daughter has a history of substance abuse and adhd and I suspect that she is also bi-polar. She refuses to take the the adhd medication because she says that it doesn't work. The truth is that she is like a different person when she takes it. When she takes the medication she is not nasty or mean. Now when she goes to the doctor she is more interested in getting specific medication instead of trying to get help.

About 4 weeks ago she came to stay with me for a few days because she had just been d/c'd from the hospital. Now she refuses to move out and on top of that her boyfriend has also moved in! I'm told that he completed his rehab obligations and had nowhere to go. Now last year my daughter was removed from another shelter that we were living in because she beat me up.

Now she is fully aware that she is not supposed to be here and that her brothers and I could be discharged from the program that is funding us to live here. She says that she doesn't care if we get put out because if she has no place to live then we shouldn't either. She is mean and nasty all the time to everyone. It's unbelievably stressful all the time at home and I am anxious all the time because I don't know what she is going to do next.

I am like a prisoner in my own home because I can't leave her alone because I don't know what she will do to her brothers. It is such an unhealthy environment for her brothers to have to live in. She has to move out but I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Report her to the shelter management.

I would say you report her, and tell them she won't leave, and let them evict her.
Your fault for letting her to start with (you knew the rules)

You need a social worker if you don't have one, and the help of the shelters management ASAP.
