Just wanting closer!
My girlfriend ended our relationship a couple of days ago by telling me she just wanted to be friends. A month previous to this I tried to distance myself and get space. She wouldn't allow it. She texted me and wouldn't give me the space needed to move on. A week after this, I once again tried to end the relationship, only to have her show up at my house the next morning. Now, she deciedes to end it. I am fine, I'll live. BUt I have seen her the past two days and she keeps trying to get my attention. Some friendly ways, but they are getting progressively meaner. I have been ignoring it. I haven't talk to her at all. Numerous times I have been talking to guys and she comes up and starts flirting with them in front of me. I just walk away. I heard her say to me, "You need to get over it" when she walked by me because I wouldn't look at her. This hurts! If she wants me to move on, why does she keep doing this? I don't want to be hurt anymore and it feels like she is just twisting the knife.

Wow! The girl sounds awfully bitter for her being the "dumper", no offense. This could possibly be a case of she wanted to dump you before you dumped her and maybe she is now just mad about the whole situation. She is just hurting and feels that if she is hurting you then she might feel better herself. Keep your distance as much as you can and ignore her as much as you, as hard as I know it is going to be. Eventually she will have to learn how to deal with the separation and just get over it. Just be glad that you are seeing the other side of her and be glad that you are not with her anymore. I hope this helps.

Sounds like a bit of a game, and I wouldn't let her know that she's getting under your skin. Try to avoid going to places where you might meet. It sounds like she might be trying to exhibit some kind of control over you, and she's getting annoyed because she cannot.

Often after a breakup we start to see things that we were blind to. Leave her alone and don't let her get under your skin.

You can pilay her game if you want, but I don't believe in a lot of nonsense like that. I agree with jane23. It's a big game, drop her cold turkey, move on. I bet you are young and able to book a new chick. Life it toooo short to worry about this type of nonsense.
