Hi all, after a little bit of a drama and more blame game (we both blaming ourselves for what happened) me and girlfriend have both decided that we should end this. And now I like this girl in my youth group but I have absolutely no idea how to tell her this without making it all weird, awkward and most of all I don't want to get anyone hurt esp. not myself. So I was wondering if you dating gurus have any advice for me?

Firstly she's going to be worried you are moving too fast after breaking up with your GF secondly does she like you - it always hard when you like a friend but there is no way to take it back once its said just make sure its what you really want - have you seen the film Just Friends!!

As for the first answerer's question, no I have no idea whether she likes me... but she's always so nice to me and when I asked her for her cellphone number she said she forgot her phone but would text it to me and then she did and she always says hi to me and stuff when I see her and the first girl at my youth group (or the first girl ever I should say) to start convos with me instead me of starting convos with her you get what I mean? So I am not really sure and am head over heels for her!! Help!!

Really there is only one way to find out if you like the girl ans see is not seeing anyone just ask her you will kick yourself if you don't

But you see I am going to get hurt or she is going to think I am weird and not want to go out with me. Either that or I am going to get turned down by her and she will say she either has a boyfriend or doesn't really want to be my girlfriend all girls say that to me. Girls hate me you see. But Jesus i.e. God has indicated to me in his way that he wants me to ask her. But how should I ask? Can someone do a model conversation that has worked for them??

I am 20 she is about 18 or 19.

Why? She goes to my uni I am in my 3rd year she is in her 2nd year. I think she's doing medicine and I am doiing commerce.

Any more stuff you need ask away. And if u didn't already know I was rejected by 15 different girls and this last girl actually went pretty well for a year and a half and then...

I can feel tears coming on so I will stop here and write more if u have more questions.

I am sorry for bringing things up but I thing you are just starting to loose your confidence.

My last relationship was for a year and a half it does hurt and it is hard to get back on form.

I am not trying to force you to ask her or anything and I am sure you are not weird you just need to lift yourseld back up.

But so many other girls have said no I hate you and worse things what if she says that too?
I just don't want anymore people to get hurt. My last girlfriend cried pretty bad about our relationship not working out and I did promise her I would protect her heart. I am such a failure that I just don't know what to do anymore. Any suggestions on other ways to tell Gracie that I like her so much??

Well you could try getting a mutual friend to find out how much she likes you and put in a good word for you you could write her a letter there are a few wayes.

Well say that you like her and all of your good qualities so then you have not said anything to her direct I will try and write you something

I realise I am being very difficult and I am sincerely sorry for that. Its just 15 dumpings by girls doesn't really make you very happy and I am quite sensitive.

How about being friendly and getting to know her. You don't just walk up to someone and start the romance stuff. Relax and see what she likes and what she is about and be yourself. When she get comfortable, then ask for a date. Forget the 15 that dumped you so what? Didn't you learn anything from them? Think on it, as you've had a lot of experience, and should put it to good use. Be confident and don't beat yourself up.
