Well first off me and my ex patrick started going out in 7th grade for 5 mouths...but hemade some wierd jokes and i liked his bestfriend...so we broke up...and me and patricks bff went out for 3 and broke up after that on the last day of 7th grade patrick asked me out and i sayed yes....what an retard i was...we broke up a mouth later we didnt see each other and i was summer...8th grade started....its now last week i noticed what i did and how sorry i am for brakeing up with him i now know...he's the one....BUT what do I do????

And how do i do it he hangs out with all the preppy girls that are in drama and sing...and are talented...but me im just depressed now and im hope less...dont get me wrong im one of the beautifulest girls in the school its just idk how to work it help me out!!!

I know it probably doesn't help to hear that you are so young, Madison, and that at this stage in your life boys will come and go. You are much too young to know "the one" just yet. He is much too young to settle down with one person right now and so are you. But think of it this way, even if he is the one, you two will wind up together in the future, won't you? So stop worrying so much. You have so many boys to meet yet. The time now is for you to have fun and to get involved with your friends and activities and date lots of boys very casually. I would suggest being friends with boys even more than casual dating for someone in the 8th grade really.

This probably has happened for a reason though Madison. You are being taught a life lesson in all of this. You see, you do have to take into consideration that you did break up with Patrick and proceed to date his friend. This doesn't go over too well with a lot of guys or girls, even those much older than you. Patrick may be reluctant to get involved with you again which is understandable. Hindsight is 20/20 for you, but it may be too late to salvage anything. He is probably keeping his options open right now and meeting other girls. He may not want the drama of break up, get back together, break up, etc, etc. Another thing Madison, many many people come to these boards with the question of how do I get my ex back and no one has the answer. There is no magic formula anyone can tell you to get him back. He has to want to come back on his own. And at his age, who knows what he is thinking? But I would almost guarantee it isn't settling down with "the one".

The only advice I can give you is to stay friendly around him, don't show any jealousy or insecurity when he talks to other girls, and don't mention getting back together. Be the Madison that he was originally attracted to. Don't tell him that you are depressed and that he is the one. Remember that the more you appear to need him, the more you will push him away. Just be happy and pursue lots of interests other than just boys. That will keep them coming your way. Don't base your whole happiness on one guy at this point in your life. Good luck to you.
