I am reaching a crossroads in my young adult life, not quite so young anymore. I have tried my hand at many things, some successfully, some I just couldn't abide.
I am contemplating major life changes, looking into school, geographic relocation, and trying to reform the integral habits that form and guide my trajectory in life. However, I get discouraged, and distracted, and recently moved to an area for a job recently where I have no long term friends, or practiced confidants or mentors, so I'm living in solitude, which doesn't fortify good habits. I've thought about seeking life coaching, or something but not sure where to start, I could use a knowledgeable person to be a sounding board, or adviser in planning my changes and sticking to them. I had a mentor once but all they wanted to do was help me find Christ, some of the keystone habits they preached were helpful and logical, but it was not a great fit.

Does anyone have a recommendation of where to start, or even know someone?
Or have hadd a good experience in the past?

Keep in mind that if your "new" profession requires licensing you COULD have a problem with an arrest record. Don't spend the money on an education you cannot use.

Mentors are everywhere - you just have to pick a profession and ask.
