My boyfriend and I have been dating for nearly 3 months. A wonderful 3 months. We had our first and only argument about two weeks ago and I guess you could say things haven't been so honey-mooney as they previously were. I could feel the tension and asked him on a couple different occasions if he didn't want to be together to just be upward and honest with me. He said he did want to be together, however, after our fight he did take a big step back. Earlier this week he told me he just needed time to clear his head. He doesn't deal well with this "stuff" and he separates himself from everyone. His head is all scrambled and he assures me it's just him. Not stress from work, another woman, etc. Other than that he has no explanation. None that he can give me. I'm so confused and honestly hurt. He has begged me to give him his space and let him sort himself out. What exactly does that mean? Don't you communicate in relationships? I've done as he's asked and haven't contacted him since. My last message to him since he couldn't even tell me to my face was "ok. I'll give you your space as you've asked. But does this mean we are no longer together?" His answer. A simple "no". So... maybe I'm being a woman. But does this mean no we aren't together? Or no this doesn't mean we aren't together?

I also wanted to add that we still have things at each other's places and he even has my son's "Santa" gift hidden over at his house. So now what do I do about that? I'm just so hurt and confused.
