Why isn't my mother ever supportive and loving to ME?
Every since I was a very small child, the earliest incident was age 5, my mother has always blamed me for stuff that was not my fault. She always was supportive of anyone besides me. She is a very giving and kind person to everyone except me (again) examples are when my exhusband came home drunk one time and threw a TV at me, she asked me what I DID to get him so angry, My nephew took over $2,000 from me and she said it was my fault because I let him move in (he was 17 and homeless) when I had a nervous breakdown she said it was because I was abusing drugs (never have I done drugs) it has been a constant thing through out my life. I love my mother but it is so painful to go visit her and be put down in small little ways. The family never has noticed it until I started pointing it out, now she has spread this treatment to other members of the family. How can you love and respect your parent when you can not handle being in the same room with her because she tears me down mentally every time. I have asked her about it and she says she does not remember doing these things or that I am blowing it out of porportion.
