    How to move on.
So, my ex finally gave me his answer last night about whether he waned to get back together with me. He said that he is half way in decidiing. Well, he chose no as the yes or no answer because he does not know if it will work out. I totally see where he is coming from, he does not want to take another chance with me. I do not think that is the best decision, you never know until you try... but anyway...

Do people just say that there are other fish in the sea because it is a nice thing to say? And when my friends say that there is someone better for me are they just saying that so I get over him faster? I guess it all depends on the situation. My friends didn't like my ex because they say he doesn't treat me right. Everyone says I should move on. See, I made him my life for the past ten months and I just don't know how to function without him. That right there should have been my sign that it was a bad relationship. He was my first true love and I do not know how I will ever overcome that. Okay, this could be me worrying too much, but I do not want to think about him when I am with another guy. I do not want to be married to someone wishing I was with my ex. Is there hope for me?

Prom is coming up and I no longer have a date. His prom is the same day as mine and we go to different schools. Is it okay that you go to your prom alone? If you go alone, do you regret it and wish you had a date afterwards? I just don't even know if I should go.

    So many good questions.

First - it is better an ex stay an ex. There are reasons for this.

Second - People do not just say there are other fish in the sea because it is a nice thing to say, it is the truth. There are so many other people out there that will be much better matched up with you, all you need is patience because it never happens when you want it to. It always happens when you least expect it. You can not hold on to something that you do not have anymore. You do not make anybody your life, you have your own life. Many people feel that you need to make somebody your whole life and many relationships start that way but it is not always the best idea because there are no guarantees it will work. Yes, there is hope for you and your ex did not treat you well and you should be saying good ridings. Your better off without him.

Prom is coming up, why not ask somebody to be your date. There are some people that go to prom in groups of people not just one couple. I personally never went to any prom and honestly I do not regret it one bit. Some people might but I honestly feel that your thinking and worrying about things that will not happen.
