Fiancée needs space?
Met this lady, we fell in love, got engaged, sex was extraordinary! She was in a long marriage before we met. She said she needed space due to what she is feeling with us! Said she is scared of falling in love. Yet, she came to see me a few days ago. Made love, talked, hugged! I need some male and female opinions please. Should I contact her or NC? She did not give me my ring back by the way when she came to see me the other day! Thanks

Get your ring back and just enjoy what you have. How old are you both, and how long have you been doing what you are doing?

I'm 38. She's 42 so we have knowledge. Just looking for an outside opinion.

This sounds like high school. You're either engaged and in a relationship... or you aren't.

So how long have you been carrying on in this youthful bliss?

If she needs space, give her more than she can handle. If she wants to be with you she will come back, if not then the ring was a bad investment, but after it is given, it is hers. Forget the ring and start taking care of yourself, don't wait for her, continue to live your life. If she comes back then you have a choice to make, but play as if she is not.

Just give her the space she asked for and see what happens. Don't get all small minded, if you handle this maturely that will give her an insight into your character outside of the romantic bubble. I wouldn't ask for her ring back. Sounds as though she thinks she has got carried away and needs to reassess: which is fair enough. Perhaps you could ask her how much space she needs and show that you can respect it.
