What will you do if someone you care about does not respond to your texts?

I told the guy I am interested in about my feelings through texts last Wednesday and he did not respond till date.. I gave him the chance of saying "NO".. I said "even if the answer is no, at least tell me.." COMPLETE SILENCE FROM HIM...

He ignored my texts.. and I ignored him completely when I saw him at work.. the least one can do is say either yes or no out of sheer respect.. and not leave the other person like that without an answer.. I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO HIM ANYMORE... he is clearly not a gentleman and the fact that he said nothing changed the opinion I had of him..

What would you have done in my case? Would you have the courage to talk to that person as if nothing happened?

I'm totally confused. Didn't his ignoring, his silence, you give you the hint that his answer was no? Apparently he isn't interested in your "feelings" (toward him?). So, move on.

Yes I'll leave him alone for sure now... I will never ever ask him about this.. he did not even respect me as a friend to reply... I won't waste my time anymore on someone who has no time to press the send button for me..

Okay, so this is just me...

"I", myself, do not like the whole "texting' world, which is funny, because I am young. Meaning, grew up with it. Well, kind of.

I believe that if you have something imprtant to say, that you should pick up the phone and call, OR, face to face.

You had something important to say, right? So why not tell him in person?

Also, with texting, sometimes people don't get the text. It has happened to me where someone will text me, and I won't get it, then the next day they will ask why I am ignoring them. I will say, I never got it.

So... whos to say that didn't happen with him? I don't know, you don't know, which is why you should have just called him instead.

Oh well, so move on.

Never. This has happened to me before. I ignore that guy completely and don't talk to him. I avoid him in the university as much as possible. If a guy doesn't respect you or either of your feelings, he's not right for you. Dump this guy and find someone else to love, who cares about you and respects you.
