Assuming that you are ready to make her your girlfriend you take the steps to start that process. Take time talking and getting to know her and take her to the movies or find out what interests the two of you share and start enjoying them together. Take things slow, it's not always important to jump in the "backseat" and make out or any of that. Enjoy getting to know her. Afer all girl"friend", boy"friend" the key to this is friend. Work on that as your first step.

How long has it been since you have had these feelings, and told her about them?

Ask her if she will date or, hangout with you. That's not an official relationship, but a way to have fun, and get to know each other.

You can continue the friendship, but with the knowledge it probably won't develop any further, so you don't go overboard, and get high hopes of an official relationship.

You also keep things in perspective, and don't get carried away by your feelings, or put yourself down because you feel rejected. Just because she doesn't want a relationship with you, doesn't mean you can't be friends, you just have to adjust the type of attention you give her.

Your options are still open, and their will be other opportunities, if your are not distracted by your feelings for one person, as there are many out there who do want a relationship, or who will date, or hangout with you.

Just spend time getting to know her better. Just keep talking to her so that she feels more comfortable around you and see where that leads.

If she says that she likes you back, then I'm sure she'll be happy to talk to you more often. Let things flow naturally, no need to rush her into a relationship.
