    He wants space.
Okay so... my boyfriend and I have been dating for the past 2 1/2 years. Last year from Sept. to Dec. we took a little break and kindof starting seeing other people but ended up getting back together. Now its been almost a year that we've been back together and just happy as ever. Always talk about our future together (getting married and such). We've always had a long distance relationship but it was only 70 miles. Now I started a new college 3 hours from him. I'm in nursing and I play volleyball so at the beginning of the year my time was very very very limited and I only got to see him twice before Thanksgiving Break. About a week or two before thanksgiving break we started talking about 'us' and how we had kindof been fighting a lot lately but I said it was just because we were so stressed out not being able to see each other and have a real relationship. So on my way back to my hometown the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I was planning on staying at his house, however we ended up breaking up within the first couple hours I was there. I was devistated and couldn't leave. Didn't leave until Thanksgiving morning. We talked all weekend long and when I had to go back on Sunday, we were fine... everything was back to normal and we were back together by the time I had to leave that evening for my long drive. Monday and Tuesday go by and I miss him pretty much more than I ever have then Wednesday night comes along and he starts talking about how he wants his space and well I quite frankly don't even know why he would want his space after we're had soooo many miles between us for the past 5 months. I've tried to text him a few times and he'd maybe text me. I sent one saying how much I really missed him and wanted to marry him and a few texts later he ended up telling me "I was disturbing him, so stop it" and I haven't talked to him since. Haven't tried. I want to respect his wish and give him all the space in the world, I'd move to the moon if I could to give him even more space but I just want to be with him so bad. What should I do? What could be going on in his mind? Help me...

I'm not sure if the two of you are really ready for anything serious. Otherwise I have to question why you'd choose a college that's 3 hours away. You've also managed to keep yourself quite occupied all during the fall semester. That's fine but I really think you need to reconsider whether you want to get serious with each other at this point.
