I met this guy we hit it off instantly, had everything in common, mutual attraction, been talking for a couple of weeks.. then out of the blue he stops talking to me... when I question this he says he's having a lot of personal problems thrown to him at once and he prefers to be left alone when feeling like this... he says I did or said nothing wrong... I don't know him that well but I'm thinking everyone's got problems why cut off someone you supposedly like?. it makes no sense to me.. so I'm thinking he's just giving me the old its not you its me excuse... so a couple days pass and I contact him saying to just be honest what happened and he's like... "i was honest i have no reason to lie and i will see you when im feeling better..if you still want to"... after days of ignoring me now he acknowledges he will eventually see me / speak to me when he's feeling better... im thinking he just said that to calm me down and get me off his back or am I over paranoid. Im thinking I should just leave him alone and whatever happens... happens... but I really like him a lot - that would really suck for me if it turns out he just dropped me for no reason..

That was a month ago...

Since then he has text me with a question mark yup just like this>>?. and nothing else... I replied with 2 of these? And he didn't reply... few days later he messages me through myspace and says... "looks like you doin better than me.." I reply with... "why do u say that?" , he didn't respond... a week after that he messages me again to say.. my new pics are nice... sexy. So I reply with a thank you, nothing from him after that. I have one of those myspace trackers so I can see he looks at my page every day from once a day to 4-5 times a day, sometimes he'll skip a day.

This is driving me nuts because I really like this guy I don't click with other dudes that often and I found someone similar to my personality and we clicked reallll nice. Now he is doing this.

Friends tell me if he was NOT interested he would not of thrown these little bones to me.

MALE friends say I should give it a couple of weeks then call him up and put him in his place for playing these games and demand to know where this is going.. so that way I won't appear like a doormat then he'll respect me more... doing that is outside my personality I believe in the "no contact and ignore him"... after all I have been ignoring him this whole time..

I feel like, even though we barely know each other, he seems interested enough to contact me with stupid incomplete phrases but not interested in me enough to resume full time interaction and possibly date...

I REALLY don't get this guy.. I don't get men.. this is frustrating I wouldn't care if we hadn't hit off so much he really is everything I like.. which is hard for me to find... so I guess that's why its driving me nuts... hhhhheeeeeelllllllllppppp!!

Well, it sounds like he may like you, esp. if he is going on your myspace page so much. Just give him some time. He may very well be telling the truth about having personal stuff going on right now. I would wait a little while. After some time has gone by, give him a call, just to see how he is doing. If he seems into you, you could always ask him out on a date. You don't have to call it a date, just ask him to go to a movie or something. If he still says that he needs time and doesn't want to date right now, just tell him that that's cool. If he says that, I would say to go out with someone else or start trying to meet some new people. If you want to wait for him, that's your choice too. He might have an illness or a death in his family or something like that. Just be patient. If you do want to wait for him, don't go off on him for not calling/asking you out. Just let him know that you like him and will be there when he is ready. I wouldn't call him TOO much because you don't want to look needy or dependent on him. Hopefully, he will ask you out soon! Screw him he sounds like my ex an I think he may be playing games and girl you don't be stupid drop him and he will be the one to come back to you... when he texts you don't text back when he myspaces you don't read it then he will get the hint and you shouldn't like a guy that treats you like this anyhow...
