Should I stay or should I go?
My boyfriend and I have been living together for a year. We have been dating for two years. I just found out through a friend of his that when we had just started dating (for about a month and a half) he tried to "hook up" with another girl at a party in another state and he was the one pursuing her all night. The reason they didn't is because her friend stopped her because she had been drinking. My boyfriend told me right after he had gotten back that he talked to a girl at the party and they sort of kissed but that was all and she was the aggressor. When I confronted him about what his friend told me he admitted it. For the past two years he kept saying things like he has changed a lot since when we first started dating. He explained that is one of the ways he had changed. It happened so long ago and nothing really happened but I can't stop thinking about this. I have known now for 3 months and it is haunting me. On a side note, he had pics of this party on his cell phone forever and wouldn't delete them because it was such a great party and it always kind of bugged me. I just don't know if I should just try to forget it because it was so long ago or what to do! Please help!

If this is the only incident, it would seem that he has reformed. Was your boyfriend drinking a lot at the party? If so, maybe that was why he made a bad decision. If you have been with him for 2 years and this was the only thing, I would say don't worry about it. Just be honest with him that it bothers you and talk it out. Did he have pictures of that girl on his phone, or just pictures of the party in general? If it was just party pictures and not her, then that seems OK. As long as he is honest with you in the future, I would give him another chance, esp. if you had only been dating a little while. Hope this helps!

He was drinking but that should never be an excuse. A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts... they were pics of other girls and a group video that she was in. the only other incident is about a year ago, after we moved in together he started talking about this other woman... all the time. He said they were friends, he tried to get me to hang out with her, even took me by her work. One day in particular he even asked if they could go to the movies, without me... I said no, he said with other friends then, but again without me. I said no I didn't like it. Later on, it came up that he thought that if we didn't work out that he would date her. Which I always thought. He even admitted to having sexual thoughts about her.
