Doubts in a relationship
Hi
I am from england and am in a sticky situation at the mo.I am in a relationship with a wonderful guy and it is long distance about 86 miles which is not a lot.We are getting married next year and I have started having doubts that I am not attracted to him enough etc.I have one failed marriage behind me and I know that this guy is so good for me and everything fits.He makes me feel really complete and he ticks all the boxes and I want to get rid of these feelings but they make me feel uneasy.he is moving here in October when he finishes his nursing course and I keep telling myself that it is because the sitution is stressful and emotional being apart.Do you think this is something that I need to work through and that it is normal to have these feelings. Also in all my past realtionships I have always had feelings of being giddy and head over heels in love but not with this one. I am really worried and don't know what to do Andrea |

Its usual to start having doubts when things are about to become 'real'... I think that before you could always rely on the distance to not make things so real... but now he's moving closer to you... and you can't help worrying that something might go wrong... I think its normal... ive never gone through it but I know plenty of people who have... and usually they're nervous or have doubts for nothing... as for the giddy head over heels in love feelings... alot of time that's in the newness or in a way innocence of a relationship... its not settling down and getting married... marrige is such a big step I think it'd freak anybody out...
