    She needs more time?
School ended for us and we stopped everything that we had. She recently lost all hope with other guys that she liked instead of me, and she came back to see if we had anything left. We saw each other for an entire night at an event, and we started texting again. She said she wanted to try to find love again because she saw everyone loving each other around her. She came over to my house, we had tons of fun. I went to her soccer game. That night we kissed (I don't think she liked it because I'm a little rusty). She went home, we haven't seen each other since, she's busy and we don't text much.

She said we'll stay single for the summer and see what happens, she doesn't even know what is going on yet. We joke about stuff, and talk about dating, but not much future stuff. We're both high up in our graduating class. I don't know what to do, should I give her the time? I'm lost, and feel like a fallback crutch. I also worry if she'll just go someone else again, how do I keep her interested?

Keep her interested? She doesn't sound that interested to begin with. You need to keep things casual with her, if she wants to be with you she will come looking for you, but don't wait for her, see other people (just the way she will that is why she wants to remain single for the summer!) and have fun. No need to wait for something that may never come and uses you as a back up plan.
