Shall I Break Up With Him?
I have this boyfriend who I been with for 6 months. He gets on well with my daughter and a great person, but he got a new job 2 mouths ago with was a big pay rise and now he travels all over the world. Which means I never get to see him, He always sends me and my daughter lots of an expensive presents but I just miss him. I only see him for a week a mouth maybe two. I don't know whether it is worse all this I do love him but I need a loving relationship. What do you think?

Normally i would not reply with an answer due to this subject lol cause i only answer car questions, but it sounds like you more than likely need to just leave him. He obviously cares more about money then you and your child because if he was about you he would say ill make less money just to be with you. And men who travel always have run ins with other woman that they meet away on business.
    Good luck

Thanks for the advise. I do understand what you are saying and if someone asked me this question I would say the same. I don't need a man in my life that's worried about money but sometimes I feel I need a man in my life when I don't. I just got to relies it's the best but every time I make this my answer I find something to change my mind.

Have you talked to him directly about this and how much it bothers you? It might not be fair to say that he care more about money than you because he took a new job for more pay. He may have felt the need to make more money and have a better career to be a better provider for you and your daughter. I know that when I was in a serious relationship, I started to be more conscious of my income and job security since I may have dependents. When I was alone, I didn't think about it as much since I had enough money for myself.

You may want to make it clear to him that you rather have less financial security in return for more quality time with him. Also find out if that heavy travel is just a temporary thing (he may have to "pay his dues" for a year or two - very common in big companies). If he refuses to give in at all, then maybe you do need to move on but find out for sure what is going on in his head first.

    What would you rather have?

A hard working man who does his best so he can someday relax and have a great life, or...

A hard working guy stuck in a dead end job who sees you everyday... but ain't happy with himself or you.

I get you miss him, but when he is gone then your free to do the things that make you a happy fulfilled person, that has good things to share when he gets back. You should never count on another to make you happy. Do your mother/daughter thing until he gets back. He must miss you both a lot, don't you think??

    Agreed Talaniman.

Blondie, you have yourself a man who seemingly loves you very much and shows you this through sending you and your daughter gifts. (Not that buying gifts is necessarily the best way to show your love). But it is clear that though he works hard to provide you all with a happy and stable future he loves you all very much. Would it not be easier for him to leave you alone if he hardly saw you.

Just shows me how much he cares, you must be truly special to him.

DOn't let boredom, or the fact you rarely see him mean you end a good thing.

Quality not quantity. A good quality loving man or woman does not come along too often. Appreciate what you have, please. You won't regret it.
