    Need quick advice!
Hello everyone! :) I posted the other day about this guy at work and how I really liked him etc... Well now I need some more advice quick. Me and this guy got together on Monday night and rode around and talked and had a really nice time. We couldn't stay out long because I had to work 3rd shift that night for a friend. Things between us went well I thought, but here is what I need advice about. We went to the lake and got out to take a walk and things between us got playful. We fooled around a little but we didn't have sex.It was getting close to the time for me to go into work so we left and he took me back to my car. Before I got out of his car though we kissed again and he said he would like to get together again. I told him that I liked that and wanted to also. Then when he drove off he told me "See ya and we'll get together again " Needless to say I was on cloud 9 the rest of the night. Last night I was working and he came in and he talked to me but some others were around us also and to me he wasn't as flirty as he had been over the past few weeks. He still flirted with me just not as much. I got off while he was still there and I told everyone bye and made the comment in front of him that I was going to drive through town to see what is going on. I went to town(which our town is small) and I parked in our local parking lot and I thought maybe he would come and talk to me. After about 30 minutes I drove past the work place and his car was gone and I didn't see him anywhere in town. I drove past his house and he was at home. I was kind off disappointed that he didn't come to talk to me. The advice I need is should I just give up and get him out of my mind or should I make the next move or wait for him too? I am so confused I work tonight and I hope I see him but what should I do when I do see him? Help! Thanks! :D

    Re: need quick advice!
They always say, "Don't dip your pen in the company ink" for a very good reason. Though it is a common place for people to meet, it's a bad idea to get involved with anyone from work. There's just too many issues going on there. He was flirty before you hooked up because he was trying to get you, now that he's got you, he doesn't necasarily want anyone to know he's got you so he backs off on his flirtations.
Also, sometimes, the thrill of the chase is what it's all about. It's like the Farside cartoon with the dog who's finally caught the car, and is like, "Now What?". He may have really just enjoyed flirting and thinking he could get you, so now that he has, he is pulling back and trying to figure out what to do with you.
This is a good thing, though. If he had just come after you and you guys had slept together and then he had pulled back, you would be in a much more difficult position.
My advice, bottom line, stay away from inter-work relationships.
