Is this normal or what?
We have been married for ten years now. He was in his 30s at the time of marriage. After marriage I observed that he was very close to his mother. He used to lie with her in bed and put his arm around her tummy and sometimes insert his hand in her blouse. When I objected on this he said that my mind is dirty and then he told me that when sometime back (in his 30s) he had some problem and his mother helped him in putting cream on his private parts, although his father and brother were also there
When I got angry on this he says he is more comfortable with his mother as she has seen him naked from childhood. Now when I am strict with him he has stopped behaving like this to some extent but sometimes he again cuddles her or hugs her and sleeps with her in same way. One day he was changing clothes with the door open. His mother was also there in the house. When suddenly I saw him naked I said why you did not close the door as his mom is also there. He said that he forgot. I think he does not care if her mom sees him naked. That is why he did not consciously close the door. Now sometimes they are alone and whenever I leave them alone for many days I think they might be doing these things. This is driving me crazy. He gets angry when I try to talk to him. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I feel like asking the question to my mother in law that you had to do all this when his father mother or some nurse could have helped him. Sometimes I feel that she enjoys this to show me that how close she is to her son. I think it is more of her fault as it was her duty to draw a line and should have not got so close to him from childhood. Her relations with her husband were also not good and she is very dominating and had never allowed her husband to come close to children. Is this normal or what? I want to know whether I am wrong or they are sick. Please guide me on this as I really want to blast her. |
