Well this new guy is my uncle's friend, my uncle is very young he is 24 25 so the guy I have a crush on is in the same age as my uncle. You know I think he knows that we can't be together because my dad doesn't like him for some reasons but I can feel he is very nice to me and makes me laugh all the time but sometimes there is still a distance between us which he made like hot and cold. So I wonder how do I know if a man likes you and tries to hide it, like how would he act.

He would act like this guy, hot and cold and very reluctant to push things or cross boundaries. But be aware that he may not actually have a crush as you do, nor wish to pursue things and ruin things with your male relatives.

So don't get carried away by your own crush. Of course its normal to hope some one likes you the way you like them, but that's no reason to wind yourself up about this crush thing. Keep it casual as in mature behavior, and not come off as a smitten teen who cannot control herself, and never assume a someone else's feelings are the same as yours.
