My ex and I had broken up in November. We went through a lot and it was a bad break up and I tried to get bak together the next day and it was a no go. Only I ended up staying at his house on his birthday a week later and everything was good until I ended up going to jail because of a bad night with him a week after. It was awkward for a while but I've always cared for him so much and he knows that. We hooked up for a while in march and then nothing. We always fight we we see each other. Im just complety confused becase I still do love him and he means the world to me and he has such potential to be an amazing guy. Only thing is he doesn't seem to care at all but he is always phonin me and texting me when he is drunk and wants me to come out and tells me once in a while that he misses me. Does he still love me or what? Why does he keep phonin me and telling me these things? It hurts so much knowing that we should be together and were not!

I do not think you should be together.

He is a drunk, and the only time he contacts you is when he is drinking.

That is a red flag there. Back and forth and this and that.

Sorry to say but this relationship is better broken up, without contact.

Change your phone numbers if you have to but it is time to just let it go and move on.
