    Mothers day?
    Hi All,

Mothers Day is Sunday and I would like to call and wish my ex's mother a happy mother"s day because, we were very close. My question is should I call and extend to her a happy mother's day or not?

I would say go for it, but be careful you don't open up a whole other barrel of fish with your ex.

If you and her were on good terms... go for it.

With all that has happened between you and your ex, I would leave this Mother's Day alone and let the dust settle a bit. You have been through far too much with the ex and calling your former Mother-in-law might create some problems for you, in regards to the ex. Unless your former Mother-in-law does not confide in your ex and you and her remained on good terms. Then she would appreciate hearing from you.

Just be careful. I know that might sound a tad silly, being so cautious about a greeting, but considering the ex... please take care.

If you have remained in contact with her since you've broken up with your ex, then yes. But if you just call out of the blue, then no.
I'm sure she is a nice person and you like her but she's someone else's mom.
