Hi... I have been in a relation with a girl for almost 5 months now. In the starting it was love from my side and just friendship from her side. Almost three months back, we had physical relation and just next day she broke up with me and said that she was into some other relation with a boy since last 2 years and they have planned to marry each other. She said that although they have planned to marry but she was not happy with her relation and it was just a compramise from her side. She said that this was the reason why she also came close to me and all this happened. I told her that when she was not happy with her present relation, she should not carry it forward because compramise should be to some extent only. I also told her that I love her very much and she can come to me anytime if she needed me. She then admitted that she has started loving me too but also can't hurt the other person. Later, things changed and she broke up from her past relation and now we both love each other very much.

When she was in process of breaking-up from her past, we use to meet everyday. I always told her that let there be nothing to hide in our relationship, be it was her past or mine. I told her about my past relations and the everything related to me. Whenever, I asked her that did she had physical relation with her ex, she always denied. One day I got a chat log between her and ex-bf. That day I got to know that they had been making physical relation in the past. I also got to know that she went to hotel with his ex when she was committed to me and was in process of breaking up with him. I put forwarded everything to her and she was shocked. She said that she was to tell me everything but was waiting for the right time. She also said that they although went to hotel but she did not had any physical relation with her ex as her consciousness did not allow her since she was committed to me by that time. But she did not have any answer to my question "Why did you lie to me??"

Once I even tried to break-up with her but she was so hurt that she cried for 3-4 hours. I love her so much that I can't even hurt her a bit.

At this stage, I am totally confused whether can I expect loyality from this girl? How can I trust her when she has been continuously lying to me? Please suggest what should I do? How to digest these facts?

Its confusing to be with someone who's also confused. So clear out the confusion, leave her alone!

You expected a lot for so soon, and didn't she say she was still dealing with feelings for her ex?

I don't think she was ready, when you were, for the same honesty, and loyalty.

Happens all the time, when an ex is involved, thought you knew that. If you didn't, now you do.
