I need to let it go, but how?
Hi all, this is new to me but I really need some advice.

I am in a relationship with a man that I do love & care about, we have been together for 6 years. I met him online 6 years ago & he is great, treats me well & loves me, I guess I'm just bored. There has been a period where has been completely obsessed with work & all he talks about is work. I guess I got bored, so I went online again talking to men to kill time until my boyfriend gave me attention again :( Well, I thought I'd just chat with some guys & make some friends. Well I did make some good friends, but one of them I began to have feelings for. He lives on the other side of the world, which is probably a good thing. We speak a lot though, almost everyday. He has told me he loves me & I think I love him too, but how can I as I really love my current boyfriend. I am very confused. I feel it's best to walk away from this love affair, but how do I stop contacting him when he is always on my mind. I do care for him & do have feelings for him... I am very confused & lost :(

Do you realize, it cheating. However boring, non-caring, disinterested boyfriend you've got, falling for someone without breaking up with your current is cheating.

Take a break. From both. There seems to have been a communication gap between you and your first boyfriend. If he was solely concentrating on his work did you ever tell him that you felt left out? Also. Are you to still chatting online? Or have you met in person and carried on?

Well, as I said, take a break. Tell your boyfriend you feel alone and uncared for. And this other guy, tell him you are already in a relationship and stop leading him on. You'll break a heart if one of the two or both come to know about this.

If you're bored, try doing sweet things to your man. Cook for your boyfriend or kiss him ever so often. You'll kill time plus he'll realize how lucky he is and hopefully he'll get his act together and make you feel like a princess, again.

Stop contacting other guys because you'll hurt your current boyfriend. How would you feel if your current boyfriend talks to someone else frequently and falls for her more and more each day?

You're cheating - you need to pick one man and stick to him. Relationships have ups and downs. If you need to be treeated like a "princess" all the time you will never achieve that goal.

If you don't know where your heart is, stop seeing/contacting both of them until you are sure.

I don't see boredom being the issue here - I see some other unhappiness.

No wonder your bored since all you can come up with is talking to other men until your man gives you attention.

That's the craziest way to waste time, and the dumbest. Get a life that you enjoy, and actually do things that relieves the boredom in a good clean, adult way. If your man doesn't give you enough attention, tell him. If he still doesn't dump him, but for crying out loud don't do the cheating.

Seeking the attention of other men when you have one IS CHEATING. And that a damn disgrace in my book!

Feelings are like a squirrel jumping from tree to another. Nothing is going to last if you live just by your feelings. Maybe it would be good for you to take distance and think to yourself what do you really want.

I would recommend to be more open with your current boyfriend. If you need more attention and you feel lonely then say it to him. Talk about how do you feel about your relationship and work on it together. If either one of you are not willing to work for it or your boyfriend isn't capable to give enough attention, then maybe it's better to split up.

Kill your time more positive way, not by cheating on your boyfriend. Pick one.

First of all, the internet isn't a reliable place to meet people. This guy could be a psycho killer. You can't really love someone you don't know who lives a billion miles away. If your bored with your current boyfriend, just leave him. Its as simple as that.
