Insecure? Nightmares?
In love? Feeling insecure? Having nightmares?
I'm a girl who is born in a abusive family, my dad used beats up my mum. And now I'm in love with a guy, we have been off and on for almost 2 years. Recently he told me he will never leave me again, I know that sounds good and secure. I'm a Christian and I cannot have sex before marriage but unfortunately I wasn't mature enough and committed sex with him 2 years ago. But now I really want to stop all these, I know cutting off sex and making a sudden change after for so long might just put an end to our relationship but I really don't think sex before marriage is healthy. And I have fears that when I ask for all these to stop, he would just slap me. And if he does, surely I will leave him but tell me who can accept the fact that the man you love so much would hurt you? You gave him all you could. And this is the end of all? Can someone please tell me what to do? |

Tell him what you told us and give him a chance to decide for himself what to do about it. If he is the real deal, he will understand and wait until you are ready forr marriage, and don't think you have to have sex, or marry this fellow just to get out of an abusive household.
I don't know how he will react, but honesty is the way to go. Has he ever slapped, or abused you before? If so forget even being with him, and break the cycle of abuse now. |
