    Infactuation Vs Love
When starting a new relationship, Are there signs of just when infactuation ends and real love begins. Is there an actual time line or chain of events that must take place to pass through this area?

I suggest you be willing to spend about 4-6 months dating regularly, once or twice a week, to properly gauge that the infatuation/instinctive attraction phase has ended and you two are firmly in honest-evaluation phase.

And the issue you should be examining isn't when "real love" begins. The issue is "real compatibility".

If you hook up permanently with someone you REALLY LOVE (and it will be real love, mind you), but you two are not compatible in all the other areas... you're doomed.

The opposite is also probably true... someone you have tons and tons and tons in common with (compatible up the ying-yang) but there's no heat, no passion... probably not a great recipe either.

No, what you're looking for is someone you're already instinctively attracted to that you spend enough time with to figure out all the compatibility questions. There are a LOT of them, too.

4-6 months before you can even begin to honestly evaluate what you're seeing in each other, how you're enhancing each other, or making each other tense/miserable... you know the drill.

TRUE LOVE is something you accomplish, not something you feel. It's something you do for another person for decades, not something that pulls at your heart and makes you helpless. That's just movie-magic, true love in real life is a years of selflessness.

Love is decision not blind. Love is an action not a feeling.

I don't think there is any certain amount of time to fall in love, but it's easy to think you are in love and it not be.

Long distance makes it harder to bond with another human, or figure out where the relationship is headed.
