I have been friends with this guy for a while and we have gotten really close. He started going out with this girl. Im fine with it. He told me that he was bi and that he would go out with me ( I'm bi and a guy by the way ) I said " Okay, I like you too. " and I like him too. But we can't get into anything since he has a girlfriend! I am respectful so I am not going to do anything. He is extremely respectful so until she breaks up with him... they will be together. So I am taking my time. I do want to go out with him though but I don't want to be a " home wrecker. " We say that we love each other and things like that though. He said that I am an option. Eh, I feel better about that! I love him... but I can't LOVE him now and he CAN'T LOVE me now! He isn't a cheater either! I admire him and he is the one person who understands me and makes me feel safe. I don't want him and his girlfriend to break up though. Should I just wait? Or should I tell him I love him back? Seriously... he is the reason SWEETNESS and TRUE LOVE was made. Well... in my case! <3 Ugh! Im so in love. HELP!

No your hormones are in heat. Love grows over the years. And you are already a home wrecker, since you talk about love, and he is waiting for her to break up, What if she does not, will you wait one year, Two years ? 10 years ?

If he wants to be with you, why does he not just break up with her ? Honestly if he really loved you, he would dump her and be with you.

You are an 'option' to him, like renting a house with the option to buy? He may be all sweet and wonderful now, but he's someone who's totally just looking out for himself. He'll have an option (or options) when you're number one in his life.

Is there really such a thing as "Bi" anyway? Sometimes it is a easy out when you can't admit you're gay, especially when you are younger.

Gay relationships are fraught with issues. So if he does break up with her don't think it is all doilies and daffodils. Most don't last that long, which is sad.
