How will I know when I am ready to move on after divorce?
I was married for 10 years. He was an alcoholic person. We broke up 6 months ago, still in processing of the divorce.

When the details have been worked out, and the divorce is final. Are there kids involved? Do you have a boyfriend already?

When the break up occurred, I assume because you had enough, the healing may have started and it could be a while before you really feel free, and have no reservations. It could be years, or months depending on your own tolerance, and determination.

Get the divorce final, then live on your own, and get OK and happy with who you are.

Just take your time and build a happy life for you and your child, then you will be ready to move on when there are no more regrets or doubts you have done the right thing for yourself.
