I am 21 and in a relation with my boyfriend since 1 year. The problem is he doesn’t cares about my inner feeling. I know he loves me but he won’t express it. I want a guy who respects me, who treat me like a princess, who appreciate things I do. I try my hardest to control myself and my tongue when we argue especially since we usually argue about so many things (Christianity, marriage, things after marriage).

He is Hindu and I am Christian. I never asked him to convert and he never asked me convert, but he always use abusive words towards Christians. It really hurts me. He gets so disrespectful, and he is very very insecure kind of person. I always get second look from people, I know am not HOT, or SEXY, but I know I am a cute girl. He always says I’m not beautiful, or smart. I’m just a normal regular gal, nothing special about me, according to him, so I don’t understand why he’s insecure. He won’t allow me to talk with my friends, just he doesn’t like it. I even stopped talking, and hanging out with my friends. If even they just say hi to me he doesn’t likes it. He doesn’t want me to move socially. I know it’s so annoying. I have very few friends and I love them a lot, but just for him, I changed a lot but still he has problem.

I don’t want to lose him. And yeah he loves me, I know that but I want him to respect me my feelings, my parents as I do love him. His parents, sometimes his parents behave very rude but I still manage to respect them, but he won’t cares about neither me nor my parents and yeah we are planning for marriage am worried about his behavior I know so many problems but I love him.

Please any suggestions to change him? Please help and I’m sorry for my very poor in English and so sorry for grammatical mistakes and yeah thanks.

You shouldn't plan for marriage with someone who treats you badly.

You need to post in plain English, not text speak.

Just tell him to treat you better or the marriage is off, then tell your mother what you have told us. She can help and that's what mothers are for.
