Well I lived a horrible teen life sleeping around. But long story short I meet this young lady very beautiful. Fell in love with her. We fell off, and I started talking to someone else. Years went on, I started back talking to the young lady again. She knew I was talking to someone, but it didn't matter. So time went on we feel in love again. She moved in with me, we had great times. But it all started sticking.

Me when the girl I was talking to found out the young lady I went back to was having my first child. She told me she would do anything to mess my life up. I was stupid and still communicated with her. Till one day my girl put a recorder in the car while I was getting ready for work, and it recorded me talking to my ex. Things went crazy.

But long story short, she don't trust me, but I really love her and I was to propose to her next week, but she keep having these snap attacks about my past life. For about a month or two I've been doing nothing, but being faithful. I love her so much, she means the world to me. What do I do?

Those tapes must have been pretty bad, and she must have been suspicious of you in the first place.

Back off guy, maybe she cools off, maybe she doesn't. It may be YEARS before she gets over this. Be a good dad, and keep a healthy distance. I assume you still live together right? You better be more than faithful, you have to be perfect, like the nicest, sweetest guy she will ever meet in her wildest dreams.

Talk things out with your girl, accept your mistakes, say it won't happen again. DO NOT DO IT AGAIN. And eventually... in a LONG time, trust will regrow. That is of course if your girl is still willing to try to work things out with you, without trust there is no relationship.

Not sure what the conversation was that got recorded - kind of sounds like she heard something she should not have. Meanwhile, here is the deal. You screwed up big time. A woman's trust is very hard to earn back entirely. And having a vindictive ex - well - they tend to be psycho - not just females either. You will have to be fully blunt and honest about all things with this woman in order to win her trust back.Do not agree with something just because you think she wants to. Remember the Abraham Lincoln commercial about the dress? Tell her it makes her butt look like the side of a barn. Get it?
