    How to control lying?
    How do I control my lying or my anger? I'm constantly lying to my boyfriend and don't know how to stop. It is destroying our relationship, and I don't want to lose him.

    I have adhd and haven't been medicated for it and my fear is that its getting worse and that we are going down hill because of my behavior. I'm hating myself for it, and I want it so much to stop. Have you any ideas or solutions on how to be more honest, and control my lying, and anger?

    Start with getting the right help you need by seeing your doctor, and getting a referral. That will also reassure your boyfriend that you are trying to make the right changes to be a better person, and more in control of yourself, thoughts and actions. Why have you not done so, and gotten to the bottom of this already? Do so now.

    Has the doctor actually said you have ADHD? Or is it just your opinion?

    If the doctor, why have you not been treated for it.

    Hi Sarah!

    There is an excellent website on Adult ADHD: www.ncbi.nih.gov/pmc/articles/pmc2957278. Adult adhd is somewhat like childhood adhd except adult adhd has co-morbidity of other psychiatric disorders. YOu need to see a psychiatrist and get the proper diagnosis so you can get the help you need to feel better. Were you diagnosed with adhd as a child?
