What kind of relationship had you two been in? An online one?

If she did not know you were in a wheel chair, you were not in a real relationship.
Next I work with disabled people every day ( what I do for a living) and people with no legs, in wheel chairs, and those that can not even move from the neck down can and do get into relationships. But it is not something you don't make available from the first talk, *** if online***
Some people will not date those with handicap, somewill not take people of some races, some people will not date short men, some men will not date women with large breast. Some men only date men.
You just need to find the right person. Online may not be the place, and if you do online, remember about 2/3 of the people you start talking to will be fake or not wanting a real relationship

People have preferences. You will find some who will date only those of their own race or religion. Some like people older than themselves, some younger... athletic versus heavier... blonde versus brunette, etc..
There are those who will find a wheelchair uncomfortable for them to get passed. Others will focus on the person, not the chair.
Try not to lump everyone together... hard to do when you are not happy with how things turned out. There are ladies who won't be bothered by it... some may need a little time to get used to it.
Although it may not seem like it right now, you are better knowing how she felt before things got more involved. Perhaps she is one of those people who just needs some time to get used to it.
How well did you know each other? How long of a relationship was it if she didn't know before that you were in a chair? Maybe that would be something to bring up in an earlier conversation for future reference.

Maybe you should have said something from the beginning? It might have just shocked her. After all, it isn't everyday you go on a practical blind date with someone and you find out that they are in a wheelchair, but as talaniman said... Find someone who doesn't care.
Good Luck,
Javi

Why do you assume it was because you are in a wheelchair?
MY bet is that she doesn't want anythign to do with you because you LIED to her, even by omission.
I don't know very many people in wheelchairs, but I would not date the couple of people I do know. One of them has such low self-esteem that I'm not interested. The other is VERY religious, and I am not, which makes it very tough to even be friends, much less to date him.
I think you make the assumption that it is about your wheelchair, when it is in fact about your personality.
