    How to call off my engagement
    Dear Friend,
    Firstly I need to cancel my engagement.
    I was in love for about 12 years with one of my second cousin. Since we were sure that our parents will not agree for the wedding due to the society.. I had to agree to marry a person to whom my parents gave me an option with.
    My ex BF is about 27 years old and I am 25.
    My would be is about 32 years old.
    His family have liked me a lot and are very happy in getting me married to their house. Since I was in love with another guy I kept compromising for this marriage even though I didn't want to get engaged I set myself to be good to this guy and pretended to love him but I don't.
    The guy that I am engaged to is quiet well of in finances where as my BF is not too well to do.
    Now what happened is after I was engaged to this new guy, my ex BF got back to me saying he wants me back in his life and So did I.
    He had planned to speak to his parents today, but since I couldn't hold myself I spoke to my parents before he did. And my parents didn't support me and ask me to say no to that guy as he is my cousin and the society would speak bad about my parents.
    Now me and my BF have decided that I will cancel this wedding and give myself some time and once we settle down we will once again approach my parents and get married.
    Now the question is how do I cancel this wedding from my end I have about 5 months time for my wedding. I am very scared to tell this guy that I am in love because my sis is separated from her marriage and the society has a very bad view on our family.
    There were about 150 people in my engagement and so was I smiling for the snaps as I was pretend to be OK with the engagement.
    Please help me with your advices.
