    Need help getting EX girlfriend back?
    Hi All,

    Here is my story...

    I broke it off with my ex girlfriend about 14months ago now. Within 1 week of the break up I asked if she wanted to work things out and I want her back, She said no to me, after about 2 months of txting each other she stopped replying to my texts and we both got the hint that is was over for good.

    About 2 months ago, one night I got back from a party, Being drunk at the time I thought it would be a good idea to contact my ex after no contact for about 1yr. I text her " Hope you don't hate me and u are doing well?' She replies back within 5 mins and says.. "no I don't hate you, I am well" That night we sent each other a lot of messages and we still keep in contact since that night. ( 20 or so text messages a week)

    We are both single and 28yrs old.Early in the txting I said, it would be nice if we could start again, She said, 'yes it would be but it won't work.. we will go back to fighting all the time again'. Since that text I have not mentioned to get back together etc. I only ask her how her week has been or what she has been up to? etc... Txt Chit chat...

    I really would like her back, Any ideas on what I should do?
    In total we have been txting each other for about 3 months now and its on going.

    When you broke up with her, she did the healthy thing and got over you. That means seeing you in a new light, regardless of all your good intentions. I doubt that you have much chance of getting her back, and should either accept her as a text-friend or go cold turkey.

    One little phrase of yours bothers me - you say you 'both got the hint.' Umm... she was the one giving the hint, and you were the one getting it. It makes me wonder - have you ever been dumped before?

    You already asked her back, twice, and she said no both times. There isn't a way to trick someone into having a relationship with you, you've done everything you can do.

    Stop texting her.

    Perhaps stay sober, stop drinking and go back to no contact while you have some dignity left.

    And in the year, where you not dating or seeing someone else, move on.

    She ain't into you like that any longer, and if you can't be friends then leave her alone.
