So I'm going to try to make this as short as I can. But, me and my ex went out for about a year and a half and we fell in love about 6 months in. We were so happy together and we showed it. We were the perfect couple, we agreed on everything we liked the same things, and we had the same best friends. It was picture perfect.

During the relationship, one of my friends admitted her love for me, and my girlfriend found out and immediately hated that girl, saying no contact and such. However that girl contacted me and tried to repair things, and my girlfriend found out and became upset, but I promised her I would not talk to her again.

Most recently I found out that same girl was pregnant and I asked her if it was true, she said no but then we started to talk about college, and the conversation lasted about 4 messages. Well, my ex found out about that and was torn, she broke up with me but I could tell she did not want to. Her exact words were I don't want to break up with you but I feel like I have no other choice.

I tried to convince her otherwise saying she is the love of my life, and that I would never hurt her again. I meant every word of which I said. So she said I just need a break, and time to think so about 3 days went by and I cracked and text her which was the worst idea and I know I pushed her further away. I was an emotional wreck and had no idea what to do so I texted her.

She told me she has no intentions of getting back together but she doesn't want to promise we won't because she cannot predict the future. We go to the same college, so yesterday I saw her eating alone so I went and sat next to her and we talked and she said I betrayed her trust and that she lost the feelings for me.

I kept saying please let me repair this let me make you gain feelings for me again. I know I can make you fall in love with me all over again. But she said she had already given me a chance when she caught me the first time. I know what she is saying, but I honestly did not have feelings for this other girl. She was a close friend and I wish I never even told my girlfriend she had feelings for me.

My ex said we can't be friends, at least not right now because she knows I'm still crazy for her.

I'm an emotional wreck, I'm not eating, I can barely sleep and I cannot focus in school. We were literally perfect for each other I was so nice and kind and loving and she was just the best girl I could ever ask for, buying me things and driving me around. We were in love.

I refuse to believe that she is throwing all of that away without even giving me one last chance. I just want her in my life one way or another. I want to do absolutely anything to get her back. I'm going to respect her wishes of leaving her alone, for however long she wishes.

I'm just wondering if after about a month or so should I try and text her or what should I do? Because her friends tell me she is a wreck without me and she wants me back but she doesn't want to get hurt again... ARGG confused.

She bought you things and drove you around?

I think she's made it very clear that she doesn't want to hear from you now. I don't know why she's so jealous or upset about the other friend - but if you promised you wouldn't contact her and you did, you lied to your girlfriend.

It almost sounds like she was looking for a reason to dump you - presumably she knows.

Yea I was thinking she was looking for a reason to dump me, but Im not sure about that because we loved each other dearly, I'm talking we spent almost every hour of every day together. Lying was the stupidest thing I could have done and I regret it every day that goes by. I'm refusing to believe that we won't ever talk to each other again.

You had better get your act together just in case, but you have blown it twice guy. Nothing to do but hope she misses you enough to try again but if she doesn't you still let her cool off.

Leave her alone and put your best foot forward for a while.

This really a tough one but obviously she really liked you and was afraid of losing you. My guess she feels that the other girl always gets what she wants so she is scared of losing you to her.
Advice :
Leave her alone for a few days even weeks. Do not contact her at all. No text, no calls nothing !
She will come back
