    He wants to go away with family while our relationship is stressed!
    I have been with my fiancé for about two years now we are not young we each have three kids a piece his are grown and in college my oldest is in college while my two others are at home with us. We are planning to get married next year and this is one of the most secure healthy relationships I have ever been in. The problem I can't sseem to get past is it is two weeks before Christmas and we are in debt beyound our means but we knew this getting into the relationship but it's gotten worse because were just bearly getting by and I lost my job. Now his family owns a cabin in Maine and from time to time we go up there when we can aford the gas and a ltille extra cash for spending just to get away that's our only releif but lately we haven't even had that and his dad asked him and his brother to go away for the weekend and he wants to know how I feel about it. I told him I was jelous because we haven't had not one ounce of quality time or relaxation together or stress releif and now two weeks before christmass he wants to take off for the weekend and go snowmobiling with his dad and brother while I'm stuck home worring by myself about the bilss and jelous that I don't get a repreive that that not to mention with all the stress with money and me thinking about him there I don't want to resent him. Confused any advice Oh yahh I don't want him to resent me and not go.

    You should let him go with your blessing, and take the weekend as your chance to do something besides stress yourself, which I suspect you will do whether he is there or not.
