My best friend has been seeing a guy for a year now and only sees him on a Saturday night. He tells her that he only wants her and makes promises he never keeps. The Saturday dates are always the same thing, out for drinks and dinner and then to a hotel for the night. She hasn't even met his eleven year old daughter because he tells her he's in this situation. She is crazy in love with him and wants more, but he just won't move things along. She tells me how much this hurts but can't walk away. She needs professional advice to help her see the light. I keep telling her to walk away am I giving her the right advice? I can't stand to see her feeling so hurt.

I don't care how crazy in love someone is, I have no doubt that when she has had enough pain, she will do something about it. Then she will need a shoulder to cry on, and for now all you can do is listen and tell her what you think. She just can't hear you... YET, but she will.
