Girl problem
Right so me and this girl have been friends for a while, she sometimes calls me her best friend. We talked about really deep things and when she was seeing this boy she was asking me for advice and I was happy to give it to her because at that point I just saw us as really close friends. I also asked her for advice with other girls. Then her and he boyfriend break up and so she's upset and I'm talking to her about it and trying to make her happier, and a couple weeks after her break up I started to like her.
Then we get into a conversation about what we want from a relationship and we both sort of said the same things, like hugs and that kind of stuff. I didn't go into too much detail about what I wanted from a relationship ;). Then she was like we can just go round each other's house and watch a film cuddle and I said yeah that sounds good and we arranged a day (that day has not come yet), the next day us and a few friends went round a friends house and we all watched a film everyone else was just sitting normally, but she was lying over me and half way through the film she started stroking my chest. If anyone did know us they'd probably think we going out. Also she told me that her mum thinks we have a thing and she said she told he mum that were just best friends.
My problem is I'm starting to really like her but I can't tell if she likes me, I can't tell when she's flirting and not. Does she like me? If you want me add more details just let me know.

She's your best friend and of course you like each other. No stranger on the internet can tell you this girl's feelings, but if you but if you want to really know how she feels ask her yourself. Not unusual to have thoughts beyond just friendship when you are around a female you know is available, its pretty natural even. Just be prepared if she values the friendship more than the possibility for romance.
How old are you both? How long has she been broken up?

At 16 feelings can be intense for a while, and fade just as fast later. I would talk to her and be ready for whatever she says. Clearing the air and not just letting those feelings become too obsessive, or fall victim to false hope. You have had other relationships though right? And disappointments. You both have.
True friends can talk about anything, but romance changes everything.
