I was so in love with a man he acted the same. Cause I told him I'm leaving him to be with someone else he dumped me disconnect his phone.I was just playing 2weeks later he came back with a mentality I have to take him back he was hurt and did believe what I say blah blah I say no he gets mad I feel as I can't trust him for dumped me just for talking!! Is it worth to take him back

Let's see if I got this as I read it:

1) You were in love
2) You told him you were leaving...but for some reason you were just playing (why anyone would do that?)
3) He dumped you
4) He came back begging you to take him back
5) For whatever reason, you said no.
6) YOU can't trust him because he dumped you when you said you were leaving him.

Is that right? That's idiotic. What kind of games are you playing with this guy?
No, don't take him back. Let the poor guy find someone else that won't treat him like you did.

Maybe the next time you find someone you actually like...you won't play these games that caused THIS problem.

You played a game. He got upset and dumped you. He came back and (I am not certain what happened at that point) but now you can't trust him because he dumped you.

You played a game. You can claim it was 'just talking' but you told him you were leaving him for another person. How did you expect him to react? Here's some roses let's go to the movies? You do not tell a person you claim to love that you are leaving them for another person. That is immature and gives the person reason to mistrust you.

If you tell someone you are leaving, they are right to dump you. I do not know why you can't trust him for responding in a very normal way to being told he was history. I don't know why he is willing to give you another chance. However, he is wrong to think that you have to take him back just because he now believes you. If he is still very angry and upset then you should not be together.

You may be concerned that he will dump you again, but he is concerned that you will cheat and/or leave him for another person. Claiming that you were 'just talking' does not make the damage go away. For some people it adds to the hurt. They ask themselves, "If they can say they are leaving me for someone else as a joke, how long before they will really leave me. Which is the 'lie'? That they are leaving me or that they were 'just talking'? Am I an idiot for believing them?"

I am going to suggest that you do not get back together until you both are ready to rebuild the trust. Part of that rebuilding will be being able to sit down together and discuss what happened, taking responsibility for your own parts in the mess and being willing to put it behind you.

Frankly, it wouldn't be worth it to me.

When you told him you were leaving, did you yell "PSYCHE!" That's what we used to do in Middle School.

He did not dump you... you dumped him, telling him you were leaving.

Of course, he stopped talking to you, and was angry.

You could not be in love, and playing those sillly games.
This sounds a lot like Jr High, how old are you.
