I don't know what he means
I don't know what my boyfriend meant when he asked me to decide what I wanted out of life. He said he had a hard time believing I didn't have strong dreams or desires. He said I should have a purpose in life. What does he mean? I really don't know how to answer him. I am not sure what kind of wants he pointed to.

    Thanks for advice.

He probably wants to know what your lifetime goals are at this point. Such as, university, marriage, children. It all depends though on your maturity level and age before thinking about your goals in life.

To his credit, he is trying to find out in a roundabout way to find out your expectations of him and if he will be able to accomplish what he wants in life and fulfill yours as well. Guys are genetically predispositioned to be solution-providers so we tend to think that way. Wimmens will spin out big fantasies about what the wedding will be like, where and what kind of house and how many kids and stuff while th guy is a bit more concerned on the how to get those things...
So good job! He's thinking long-term and really trying to listen and get to know you on a deeper level.

    Rate iffen its useful.

    nicespringgirl agrees: I think it
Sorry, I mis clicked some key, end up sending the rate without the completed sentence... I agree with you, it's a good answer.:)

Ur boyfriend has his head on his shoulder obviously.

And I have those questions for people all the time. It's normal, so don't take it too personally. He is nice to say that. He wants you to clarify your goal.
Just do the best you can and I am sure he will be happy to see you working on your way up.:)

Pump him for more information. It sounds like he's trying to say something but can't bring himself to say it, whatever it is. Meanwhile it's unfair of him to play head games with you and expect you to read his mind. If he continues to give you the runaround then say something like "I'm sorry, but I think I need to find myself a boyfriend who knows how to communicate." That should force his hand, once and for all.
