Does he want to be with me
I've been having this feeling that my partner is withdrawing from me, I confronted him about this last night as I'm very open and do not like to sit on a situation.
I know he woeks really hard and he has a lot of pressure with regard to seeing his daughters from his broken marriage but I feel I'm always thereand supportive

His answer to my concern was that he was tired and just wasn't sure if what I wanted from the relationship was something he had the energy to give. He then claimed that I withdraw from him and at times make him feel lonely.

We have had some rought times but I thougth all that was done but its almost like he holds onto our turbulent past and can not see the good we have.
I apologised as I always appear to do and accepted full responsibility in promising that I will show him more love.

I just don't know if I'm wasting my time hoping for the fairytale with him.
Once upon atime he promied me the world and I don't want to play the victim by claiming he show me nothing because I know that he is the one that will call at least four times a day and travel all over to see me.

I'm just not sure if there's aprt of him that's kidding himself and trying when deep down he doesn't really want to be with me.

"I apologised as I always appear to do and accepted full responsibility in promising that i will show him more love."
Your above quote shows that you are the one trying to hold this relationship together, and not him. He doesn't appear to want to be together with you. I would give it a little more time, but stop apologizing. Stop saying you are sorry about everything, and see if he will be more receptive to saying he is sorry.
I think this has become a one-sided relationship, and maybe it's time to move on. I do wish you the best, and good luck.

You are wasting your time looking for a "fairy tale" there is no, there is real life, hard, tough and dirty sometimes..

There are two people who never fully get all they want and have to settle for what the other can give and offer.

It takes two people willing to do what it takes to make it though each day, one at a time.

There is no prince charming, no fairy godmother and at midnight the only thing that happens is you are tired.
