I dated this girl for 2 years and they were the best years of my life. But my friends didn't like her and would always tell me that I could do better and that I should break up with her. I didn't listen to them because I loved her so much and didn't care what anyone thought about her.

Until my best friend told me that she was flirting with him and was trying to cheat on me. I confronted her about it and she said that he was lying but I took my friends word over hers and I broke up with her. It was the hardest thing I had to do because I loved her so much and I thought that she was the one. Five months pass and me and my friend were drinking and he told me that he lied about my ex trying to cheat on me and he only made it up because he was watching out for me and thought that I would be better off.

I couldn't believe that he lied to me so I tried to call her and tell her that I was sorry and I made a big mistake but it was too late she moved on and was dating a new guy. She told me that I broke her heart and that she didn't know if she could ever trust me again.

18 months have past and after dating a couple of girls I still find myself thinking about her and what we had. She still wanted to be friends and kept sending me messages on Facebook asking how I was doing and that she misses me. I ignored her until I couldn't take it anymore and told her to stop talking to me and that I still loved her and to see her with another guy hurt me so bad that I could never be friends with her. After I told her that a few weeks later she and her boyfriend broke up. She text me and said she misses me a lot and wanted to hang out so I agreed and we went out shopping, had dinner, and watched a movie.

For the first time I felt alive again and I couldn't believe this was happening. But her ex found out we went out and wasn't happy about it. So she blocked me on Facebook and stopped texting me she told that she is under a lot of stress and had a lot on her mind so she couldn't talk or hang out with me anymore. I find myself in worse shape then I was before. I don't know why she told me she still loved me and that she missed what we had and then all the sudden give me the cold shoulder.

She used you to make her ex/new boyfriend jealous. You fell for it. She killed two birds with one stone, got him jealous, and got you hurt.

You have made enough mistakes with her, she got revenge. Leave it alone and learn, and that includes the so called friend who started this downward spiral by lying.

That does not sound like love to me at all she might want to make it seen like it is but is not did she tell you who broke up with who? why they broke up? And did it sound convincing ? To me it sounds like she gave you a hard lesson to learn don't ever go back out with a girl that feels like you broke their heart never
