Confused boyfriend
I have been with my boyfriend for 9 months and were blissfully happy and hopelessly in love. Recently his parents have been putting pressure on us to buy a house of which they would put about 80k towards, I said that with that money I would want it all drawn up through solisitors so that if anything heaven for bid happens I would be protected. We then booked to see a mortgage advisor and viewed a few properties that I had arranged from pressure from him from his parents! For the past 2 weeks he has been different with me and always tired but I put this down to his new job which he has to get up at 4 everyday, him being stressed about his police course as he is training to be a special, his lack of funds from not being paid properly from his previous employer and not getting a full months wage yet, pressure from his parents about us getting a place (he doesn't really like or get on with them and he went to boarding school all his life) and lastly he just had to sell his beloved motorbike due to not having time or money to fix it. All that put together I thought that's why he wAs stressed. I got home the other day and again he wasn't being right so I asked to speak to him about where we stood on the house hunting front. Turns out he got scarred about seeing the bit of paper with 35 years on it and was saying that we haven't even been together 10% of that. Well I was like well that's fine I'm not too fussed about getting a place as I've been renting for 10 years and I don't mind so let's just leave it. Got that all sorted thought everythin would be fine. Came home today and he was still being weird with me so I got upset and went in the living room. He came and asked what's wrong and I said u! It all boiled down to him still saying that's he loves me and there's nothing he could want more from me but he wants to be by himself as for the last 7 years he's always been with someone and he wants to see if that's what he wants now rather than waiting years down the line and feeling the same as then it would hurt me more. I'm so confused and upsett as he's saying he doesn't know what's wrong with him and has he got something wrong in his head as he wants to be with me but wants to be on his own, please any info you have would be muchly appreciated a I don't want to loose him and I want to work this out together
