Confused
Okay, so I have been with my boyfriend since January, so its almost been a year. I am so very happy with him, and I love him to death, but at times I manage to think about a friend of mine. Hes been my best friend for a really long time now and I recently found out that he likes me. Ever since I found this out, I have realized that I like him too. Im not sure what to do, or how to react to this because I like my friend a lot, but I also love my boyfriend. And I really don't want to tell my boyfriend for fear of him walking away from him. I wouldn't be able to take it if I lost him, but yet, I feel attracted to my best friend when I'm with him. I know this all sounds very wrong. But I'm very confused and not sure what to do. I guess what I'm trying to say is, HELP!!

This is easier to answer because You yourself have answered it but don't realise it. Yes !
You said I love him,the current friend,but said the other 'likes me & I like him too', almost with an 'i think' . But really If you choose your words that carefully you sure know what you're feeling.Now You need to get the whole two packages next to each other 'in your head' of coarse & compare Objectively. Decide if you want like or Love & what they mean to You these words you use to describe the emotional attachment you hold among these two 'men'. |

Think to yourself, If I leave my boyfriend now for my best friend am I going to be happy, will I miss my "ex" boyfriend. If your current boyfriend treats you well and you "love him to death" why ruin it? Its not only you, everybody goes threw it, and everyone has a side crush during relationships. But its not worth breaking what memories you and your boyfriend are building now. This crush you have on your best friend will fade with time. Also, how would you feel if you boyfriend broke up with you because he had a crush on his best friend, but made it clearly that he loves you. If months pass though and your heart is growing stronger for the other guy and not so much for the boyfriend, you'll know what to do. Good luck! |
