After 1 year I am still_n_love with my ex
We were together 3 years and 9 months. I discovered she was cheating but she denied it. She claimed they were only friends. We parted, and they moved in together. They have been together since we split. I try to date, but still find it very difficult. I feel like I am being unfaithful to her. I try to stay active but keep running in to her. I go to church, she and he are sitting on the next row. I go to the gym, I receive an email from her asking if we can work out together, for she noticed me at the gym and wanted me to know that I still look good, (great for my ego, but not sure why she wanted me to know this now.). I don't go to any of the bars or restaurants we frequented because I don't want to see her with him. It's been a full year, why can't I get my life back on track, and get over my ex?

It is really hard to get over a ex especially if you keep bumping in to her everywhere. There is something unresolved between you two or you would be able to get over her. I spent the better portion of 2 years wondering why I couldn't get my life back on track after I broke up with my ex. It was because I didn't understand where it went so wrong that he felt the need to cheat. It turns out it wasn't anything between us it was to do with him. It is in some peoples personality to cheat. It is part of the 20somthing generation where we are never satisfied with what we already have. We hop jobs, hop boyfriend/girlfriends. Time and distance is what you need. One day you won't think about her one day it will just go away and you will realize that you are actually living yourlife for you not her.

So you change gyms, you go to a new church, make new friends, go to different bars and start a new life all over.
AS long as you are in contact with her you will have a hard time getting over her. |
