2 months+ after the break up and.
My ex who I went out with for about a year broke up with me more than 2 months ago. Of course it was hard for me to get over it but I did after a few weeks of endless crying and questioning everything. Then I just got sick of it and decided it wasn't worth it. We kept in contact in class and sat next to each other but I've stopped talking to him 3 weeks after we broke up just so I could give him distance since that's what he seemed to want.

He kept contacting me outside of class through MSN, after one week of not seeing him, asking weird stupid questions as an excuse to talk to me? Or so I think and my best friend suggests. I keep the conversation short and simple, and he's tried to contact me probably 4 times in the last few weeks.

I fooled around with one guy a month and a half after the break-up and it went on for a about three weeks. Then the guy decided he didn't want to get too attached so we cut off contact. I really didn't feel anything for him but when I was with him I kept talking about my ex and figured maybe I'm still not over him.

Now recently, my ex has been inviting my close friends to his party in front of me and we all know he does this on purpose because he could just text them and whatnot. He even asked me if he should invite my best friend to his party! So then I started to get pissed at the fact that he's trying to get my attention in a weird way. I totally get why he wouldn't invite me to his party (because we're only distant friends now and it could still be a bit awkward) but I just don't get why he has to act that way. Totally thought he handled the break-up in a mature way but now he's acting like a kid.

So now he still keeps contacting me on MSN (but he hasn't texted) and I don't really know what to do. I want to be friends with him but he's kind of making me feel like he's still interested in me after telling me that he didn't want to be with me 2 months ago (or am I assuming too much?). I miss him and I still love him.. but would it be really worth telling him that I miss him too? Or even trying to make the friendship thing work out?

I agree No Contact. Don't talk to him, and if he tries to contact you ignore him. If he cares about you and wants to be with you enough. He will let you know. If not his loss. Hes seems very immature do you really want to be with someone like that anyway?
