Name on Mortgage vs. Name on Title
We are getting ready to buy a house and because one of us has poor credit, the mortgage will only be in one of our names. In a case like this, is it possible to list both people on the title?

    Thanks

Re: Name on Mortgage vs. Name on Title
I am going through this exact thing too. I have good credit
And a friend does not. HE paid for a partnership.

I will add his name to the deed only the day after the deed is filed with the county. In short, the deed will be listed
2 times, one with my name only and the 2nd time with his
    Name on it.

THis has to be done carefully so as not to alarm the mortgage company.
