    valued compensation?
    I purchased a townhome with a friend. I am relocating out of state and will quit claim to co-owner. Can I ask for half the value of the townhome on the quit claim deed?

    Hello r:

    The quit claim deed doesn't provide for that. You can certainly sue him for your half.
