    Transfer of title
My parents want to transfer a home title to me. The home is paid for. There are no liens. What are the steps we should take? We live in Michigan.

Personally, to do something like this, I'd go through a title company or a real estate attorney. The attorney can explain all of the various tax implications and other possible scenarios that may arise. If you've already covered all of those bases, then a title company can prepare and file all of the correct documents to be sure everything is done correctly.
